November Program: Writing for Translation

STC-SM’s November 30 program will be about writing for translation: what is it that translators need from a source text in order to translate that information into a high-quality target text? Forefront Corporation’s founder, Elke Kramer, will present the information you need to be sure that your documentation is ready for translation.

Elke Kramer was born in Germany and came to the United States 21 years ago. She earned a B.A. from the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom in international management and marketing, a B.A. from the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund, Germany in international business and English, French, and Dutch, and an M.A. in business from the University of Detroit Mercy. Kramer founded Forefront Corporation in 1997 and has successfully grown it to this day. Forefront Corporation’s services include translating, interpreting, and language instruction in all major world languages.
