STC Society Election 2017 Is Open

The 2017 election slate is now available. Members have to have paid their dues by February 1 to vote. An email from STC Election,at intelliscaninc.net, should have arrived in your Inbox on February 27. There is a link, your member number, and a password for you to use. For your vote to count, you must click Submit Vote after reviewing it.

Voting closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 10.

If you have not received an email, but you paid your dues before February 1, email STC.

Free AIIP/STC Joint Webinar on January 21

Free AIIP/STC Joint Webinar: First-Year Questions Panel for STC members on Thursday January 21.

STC members can attend this free webinar specifically for first-year members to ask questions about being an independent info pro. Guest panelists will be STC member Ruth Thaler-Carter of Writer Ruth and AIIP members Scott Attenborough of Content Capital LLC and Ed Vawter of QD Information.

While the focus is on questions that people in their first year of business have, everyone is welcome to attend.

SUMMIT 2015 Vice President’s Report

I imagine some of our chapter members would like to know if paying for the Vice President’s registration to the annual conference had any value. I certainly hope you think so, because I was very happy with my first STC conference. I got lots of great ideas and guidance for the upcoming year. Here are some of the sessions I attended on Leadership Day:
